Job summary

Singer Equipment Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the management of commercial kitchen installations, coordinating on-site and off-site activities to ensure customer satisfaction. You will participate in job-site meetings, manage scheduling, and collaborate with contractors and customers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and several years of experience in restaurant or commercial kitchen project management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial kitchen and/or restaurant project management field experience preferred.
• Experience with construction/industrial projects strongly preferred.
• MS Office Suite; required.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently; required.
• AutoQuotes; preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple resources and schedules.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with contractors/owners/customers for field coordination and measurements.
• Reviews equipment releases and shop drawings; handles purchase orders and color selections.
• Manages change orders and coordinates field changes with contractors and trades.
• Communicates with project team, both internal and external.
• Supports project managers, meetings, scope reviews, and site inspections.
• Attends corporate events, meetings and trainings as required.
• Coordinates warranty calls and installation issues post-turnover.
• Reviews and supports project billings; tracks project costs.
• Drives to jobsites, potentially 100+ miles away.
