Job summary

Allegiance Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Commercial & Industrial Construction to support project delivery on large, complex projects.

The role offers growth from APM to PM with mentoring from experienced Project Managers and exposure to a strong backlog of commercial/industrial work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred.
• Construction Management, Engineering or related degree is a plus.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery.
• Help manage schedules, budgets and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Handle RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Attend project and coordination meetings.
• Assist with estimating, procurement and project close‑out.
• Work closely with the field team to keep projects on schedule.

A well-established General Contractor is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team in Greensboro.

The company has a strong backlog of commercial and industrial projects, giving you the opportunity to work on large, complex projects and develop your experience alongside experienced Project Managers.

The Role

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery
• Help manage schedules, budgets and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Handle RFIs, submittals and change orders
• Attend project and coordination meetings
• Assist with estimating, procurement and project close‑out
