Job summary

Premier Exteriors, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our commercial construction team in Charleston, SC, supporting projects across our Southeast territory. You will assist the Sr.

Project Manager with planning, execution, and closeout of exterior envelope projects, including stucco, EIFS, fiber cement, and related systems. You will coordinate meetings, read plans, manage changes and costs, and help with billing and contract reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial construction project management, superintendent, or estimating roles preferred.
• Familiarity with exterior envelope systems (stucco, EIFS, DEFS, fiber cement siding) or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and subcontract documents.
• Strong leadership and coordination across multiple jobs/markets.
• Proactive problem solving and customer service mindset.
• Self-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal team and GC/owner coordination meetings, on-site or virtual.
• Communicate with GCs, owners, and architects with clear follow-up.
• Track schedules, manpower, and support PM and superintendents to meet deadlines.
• Handle job costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assist with preconstruction planning and change orders.
• Support pay applications, schedules of values, and retainage tracking.
• Review contracts and flag risk items before work releases.
• Prepare and track closeout documents (warranties, O&Ms, punch lists).
