Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and administering construction projects. You will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations.

Responsibilities include reviewing owner contracts, assisting with scheduling, safety, and quality control, monitoring costs, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of construction, design, finance, or project management experience.
2+ years working for a commercial electrical contractor.
Proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and AIA Contract Documents.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

Review owner contracts and ensure compliance.
Assist with project scheduling, safety, quality control, and site logistics plans.
Support contract buyout activities.
Monitor project costs and schedule updates.
Participate in project planning meetings and identify project risks.
Coordinate punch list activities, owner training, O&M manuals, and warranties.
Assist in preparing monthly project status reports and executive summaries.
Maintain project documentation and records.
