Job summary

Flowtec Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead heavy civil projects in Illinois. The role requires managing multiple projects and teams while controlling scope, schedule and budget.

You will leverage scheduling software and maintain strict safety standards. The candidate should have a civil engineering or construction management background with at least 2 years of experience in heavy civil work, budgeting, and cash flow reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software.
• OSHA 10/30 certification.
• ISTHA or IDOT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to meet project goals and objectives.
• Maintains ongoing training and mentoring of project team.
• Directly responsible to senior management.
• Provides ongoing project information and project reviews as required by management.
• Coordinates training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
• Ensures scope of work, schedule and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including the client.
• Determines controls and maintains overall project and discipline schedules and budgets.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously

• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to run multiple projects at a time ranging from $2M-$40M
• ISTHA or IDOT experience preferred
