Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to coordinate cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle under the supervision of a Project Manager. You will manage parts of small projects or elements of larger initiatives, ensuring work aligns with budget and schedule.

Collaboration with accounting, operations, and leadership is essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related experience, with strong organizational, communication, and design-team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 5 years related experience.
  • Strong ability to interact with design teams; excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
  • Active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams through the project life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
  • Manage aspects of small projects or parts of larger projects.
  • Coordinate workload to meet budget and schedule and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, Accounting, Operations and Business leaders for periodic reviews.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Project Manager Assistant, we'll count on you to:

  • Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years related experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
