Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager Assistant in Phoenix, AZ to support multi-disciplinary project teams from development through close-out. Under the supervision of a Project Manager, you will help ensure on-time, on-budget deliverables and coordinate cross-functional activities across accounting, operations and business leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, with PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of related project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with design teams across disciplines.
  • Active participant in an employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
  • Responsible for aspects of a small project or a portion of a larger project.
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and bring deliverables in on budget and schedule.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic reviews.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Project Manager Assistant, we'll count on you to:

  • Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years related experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
