Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in delivering security operations at a complex, multi-use facility in Washington, DC. You will coordinate staff, monitor attendance, and prepare weekly reports to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 5+ years of security operations experience, a bachelor's degree (preferred), and flexible, on-call availability including off-hours and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act on behalf of the Project Manager in his/her absence.
• Monitoring and addressing attendance and disciplinary issues of Contractor's personnel.
• Administer a driver safety/awareness program and related training.
• Prepare all weekly summary reports for the operation, including post incident reports and daily guard hours.
• Maintain post orders in a central file and ensure copies are available at all times.
• Conduct specialized security training as required by the Manager.
• Establish performance measures for the service and related processes.
• Attend daily briefings with the Manager and report on posts, issues, and staffing levels.
• Recommend policy and procedure enhancements.
• Supervise use of the Electronic Guard Tour Monitoring System (EGTMS) and generate daily reports.
• Be available on call 24/7 to assist and advise the Manager.
• Dress in business attire while on duty.

Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in connection with the performance of the services required hereunder and will perform the following duties, at minimum:

Primary Responsibilities

• Act on behalf of the Project Manager in his/her absence.
• Monitoring and acting upon all attendance and disciplinary issues of Contractor's personnel.
• Administer a driver safety/awareness program, including all related training.
• Prepare all weekly summary reports required for the operation, including but not limited to post incident reports and daily total guard hours.
• Maintain all post orders in a central file and ensure posts have copies of these orders at all times.
• Conduct specialized security training required by the Manager.
• Establish performance measures for the service provided under this Contract and other means to ensure productivity and overall effectiveness.
• Attend daily briefings with the Manager and provide updates on all posts and communicate any issues, problems or concerns including the number of Airport Security Agents on post and the number of relief Airport Security Agents as required.
• Recommend enhancements to policy and procedures.
• Supervise the appropriate use of the Electronic Guard Tour Monitoring System (EGTMS). Monitor and prepare daily reports relating to EGTMS as directed by the Manager. Such reports will be in a format prescribed by the Port Authority.
• Be available on call twenty-four (24) hours a day, to assist, and advise the Manager on the operations of the Contract hereunder.
• Dress in business attire at all times while on duty.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least five years of experience managing security operations at a complex, multi-use facility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be highly organized and available during off-hours, weekends, etc.
• Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Individual must have experience managing Guard staff.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to receive and disseminate information clearly is required.
• Ability to support First Responders as directed is required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
• Individual must be highly organized and responsive.
• Courteous, "customer-service" demeanor is required
