Job description
Position Summary
Support the day-to-day operations of the Construction Management team.
Manage RFPs (requests for proposals) and the bidding process, outgoing/incoming documents, change orders, schedules, RFIs (request for information),etc.
Working with Operations and Project Management, develop scopes of work for projects
Preparation of proposals and contracts
Submit plans, apply for and pull permits
Ensure all project documents are documented and filed on a timely basis
Track and report project schedules providing updates to management team
Secure quotes and place orders for owner-furnished items
Some hands-on work may be required.
Coordination and supervision of owner-installed items
Perform periodic on-site reviews of projects, punch list walks, etc.
Qualifications
Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Field experience working in construction industry required
Knowledge of basic construction practices and procedures
Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and written
Fluent in English is required
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills
