Hill is seeking to employ an Assistant Project Manager with Electrical or MEP experience for a project in Washington, DC to serve as owner’s representatives on the modernization of an unoccupied, historical federal building complex with an expected construction cost of $2.0 billion. The project is underway and is expected to take at least another two years to finish.

Hill International is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Washington, DC

Hill is seeking to employ an Assistant Project Manager with Electrical or MEP experience for a project in Washington, DC to serve as owner’s representatives on the modernization of an unoccupied, historical federal building complex with an expected construction cost of $2.0 billion. The project is underway and is expected to take at least another two years to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Report on a team with six other on-site assistant project managers with total responsibility for specific work packages as assigned.
  • Scope includes quality assurance, change order management, coordination, project controls, and reporting.
  • Incumbent reports to a Senior Project Manager for Operations and another Senior Project Manager for Project Controls in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • A college degree in engineering, or higher level of practical and relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Relevant experience managing Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural construction is required
  • Experience with the USACE QA process is preferred
  • General Contractor experience is preferred
  • Experience managing federal construction projects is preferred
  • Experience managing historic renovation construction projects is preferred
  • Must be available to work full time onsite in Washington, DC
