Job summary

Nautilus Homes in Sarasota, FL seeks a recent graduate for a hands-on start in construction project coordination. You’ll work with seasoned PMs and superintendents on award-winning waterfront homes, learning planning, scheduling, budgeting, and site operations.

The role offers a clear path into Project Management, exposure to RFIs, permits, and vendor coordination, and a supportive, family‑owned culture. On-site work with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of construction internship/experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating residential construction projects.
• Maintain project schedules and monitor progress.
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and homeowners.
• Attend project meetings and document action items.
• Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
• Maintain organized project files using construction management software.
• Support problem-solving and help keep projects moving forward.
