Job summary

MasTec Power Delivery in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in managing multiple electrical transmission construction projects. You will help coordinate schedules, track progress, and report results to stakeholders.

You will support budgeting efforts, resource planning, and ensure safety and quality are maintained on-site. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• Construction Management with 1–2 years of experience with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor.
• 2+ years of directly related experience with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a construction project from start to finish.
• Manage day-to-day project activities including the POD and time sheets.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
• Work with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables.
• Help to manage client responsibilities and expectations.
• Work with management to develop the objectives/goals of each member and assign individual responsibilities.
• Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis.
• Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.

Job Description Summary:

Assist in the management of multiple projects while providing advice to the Project Manager. Help coordinate projects, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results.

Salary Range: $75,000 -125,000

• A basic to good understanding of construction means and methods

• Completed OSHA ET&D Training

Education and/or Work Experience:

At least one of the following:

• Degree in Engineering/Construction Management
