Way is at the forefront of design build/design assist, pre-construction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control.

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work with the project manager to coordinate and accomplish the necessary project tasks and requirements. The candidate must have an eye for detail and a go-getter personality, ready to help synchronize all the project elements and make them operate successfully. Some duties may include coordinating activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met. Under the direction of the PM, the APM is expected to take on any/all tasks to learn about the industry.

Requirements

• MUST have a BS in Construction Management Engineering or Architecture

General Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in executing the management plan for assigned projects
• Help coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion
• Review project designs and contribute ideas for cost savings
• Carry out daily operational tasks effectively and timely
• Track and report project status updates to the project manager
• Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
• Manage digital project databases
• Assist in ensuring compliance with specifications
• Help create, manage, and maintain project budgets
• Help create and adhere to project timelines and calendars
• Schedule meetings, calls, site visits, etc.
• Gather information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.
• Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
• Ensure project stays on schedule and meets client goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software
• Be organized and detail-oriented
• Remain adaptable and calm under pressure
