Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Interiors | NYC

The Opportunity:

We’re working with a respected General Contractor in New York City that specialises in high-quality commercial interior fit-outs, with a strong focus on healthcare and corporate environments.

They’re looking to bring on a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into fast-paced field work. If you’re passionate about construction and want to grow your career on the front lines of some of NYC’s most exciting interiors—this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the Project Manager with all phases of commercial interior projects
• Spend significant time in the field ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage RFI logs, submittals, and documentation
• Assist in tracking project schedules, budgets, and material orders
• Help oversee safety compliance and quality control on site

What We're Looking For:

️ 2–4 years of construction experience, ideally in healthcare or corporate interiors

️ Comfortable in a field-heavy role – you won’t be tied to a desk

️ Excellent organisational and communication skills

️ Familiar with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

️ Based in NYC or nearby, with local construction knowledge
