BAMCO inc. in Middlesex, NJ is expanding its Engineering Department and seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team in delivering high-quality construction projects.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in project management methodologies and a passion for teamwork, organization, and communication. The position is in-person at Middlesex, NJ with a focus on collaboration and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support the submission of project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and managing procurement processes.
• Contribute to BOM and labor budgets, and help compile pre-job packages.
• Participate in site meetings and assist with field measurements.
