Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years construction or solar project experience.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms.
• Experience with daily reports, timesheets and project documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs and other site documentation.
• Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries and work progress.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors and field personnel as needed.
• Help monitor material deliveries and ensure proper storage.
• Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating updates.
• Support daily site meetings and action items.
• Assist with safety documentation and incident reports.
• Keep the jobsite organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Take photographs and maintain daily project progress documentation.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, punch-list and other docs.

Trillium Construction is now hiring a Solar Foreman in Mahomet, IL!

Our client specializes in utility scale solar and they are now looking to bring on a Solar Foreman to help run a project in Mahomet. This is a long term contracted role paying up to $37/hr depending on experience with a minimum of 40 hours a week.

Duties

• Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations and project coordination.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs, and other site documentation.
• Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and work progress.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel as needed.
• Help monitor material deliveries and ensure materials are received, organized, and properly stored.
• Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating schedule updates to the appropriate team members.
• Support daily site meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, notes, and action items.
• Assist with maintaining safety documentation, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
• Help ensure the jobsite remains organized and follows company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Take photographs and maintain daily documentation of project progress.
• Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, punch-list items, and other project documentation.
• Support the Site Manager with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document control.
• Assist with tracking equipment and tools used on the project.
• Communicate site issues, delays, material shortages, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful completion of the solar project.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction or solar project experience.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Experience with daily reports, timesheets, delivery tracking, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with solar construction activities, including site preparation, racking, module installation, electrical work, and commissioning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
