Job summary

Trillium Construction is hiring Journeyman Solar Electricians for a prevailing wage solar site in Pontiac, IL. Pay is $73.92/hour with a $125/day per diem, with a transition to Ursa, IL at $66.86/hour plus per diem. Work is Mon-Fri, 6am-4:30pm, for 4 weeks in Pontiac and an additional 8 weeks in Ursa.

Per diem applies 7 days a week. OSHA-10 certification and strong NEC knowledge are required to perform conduit, wiring, and equipment termination on commercial/industrial/utility-scale

Qualifications

• Journeyman level experience with commercial industrial or utility-scale electrical installations and equipment commissioning.
• OSHA-10 certification required.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing quality control checks on completed work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC requirements, electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate conduits and wiring.
• Install and terminate combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, and solar electrical equipment.
• Terminate and test solar electrical systems.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with NEC and drawings.

Work will take place on a prevailing wage solar site. Pay is $73.92 on the Pontiac, IL site (will be moving to Ursa, IL after and pay is $66.86) plus Per diem of $125/day all 7 days. Scheduled is Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm Duration: Pontiac, IL is 4 weeks and Ursa, IL is an additional 8 weeks.
