Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Alfred Station, NY is seeking a Solar Foreman for a long-term contracted project. The role pays up to $37/hr and requires a hands-on leader to support site operations in a utility-scale solar project.

You will coordinate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors and field personnel, maintain daily records, track equipment, materials and progress, and help keep the schedule and safety records up to date.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction or solar project experience.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar software.
• Experience with daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with solar construction activities including site prep, racking, module installation, electrical work, and commissioning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs, and other site documentation.
• Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and work progress.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel as needed.
• Help monitor material deliveries and ensure materials are received, organized, and properly stored.
• Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating schedule updates to the appropriate team members.
• Support daily site meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, notes, and action items.
• Assist with maintaining safety documentation, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
• Help ensure the jobsite remains organized and follows company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Take photographs and maintain daily documentation of project progress.
• Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, punch-list items, and other project documentation.
• Support the Site Manager with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document control.
• Assist with tracking equipment and tools used on the project.
• Communicate site issues, delays, material shortages, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful completion of the solar project.

Our client specializes in utility scale solar and they are now looking to bring on a Solar Foreman to help run a project in Alfred Station. This is a long term contracted role paying up to $37/hr depending on experience with a minimum of 40 hours a week.
