Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group in Kentucky is seeking a Project Support professional to assist PMs on steel erection and fabrication projects. You will review drawings and specs, coordinate with field teams, track materials, and support client and vendor interactions.

This role offers clear progression into full project management, exposure to scheduling and coordination, and mentorship from experienced PMs within a stable contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• 1+ year commercial construction experience (internships considered).
• Strong ability to read drawings & specs.
• Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs across steel erection/fabrication projects.
• Review blueprints, specs, and contract documents.
• Work with field operations on equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Manage deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor daily field productivity and timesheets.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, partners, and vendors.

What You Bring

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred

• Structural steel experience preferred but not required
