Job summary

Clobracon Construction Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help drive project success in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under the supervision of a PM, coordinating budgets, schedules, change orders, and shop drawings across diverse projects. The ideal candidate has an engineering or architectural background, at least 3 years in a construction PM or coordinator role, and strong Excel/MS-Project skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering or architectural degree, civil technology diploma, or building sciences technology diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an assistant project manager or project coordinator for a general contractor.
• Membership in the OIQ or l’Ordre des technologies professionnels.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
• Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, MS-Project.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing construction budgets and schedules, change order administration, shop drawing administration.
• Must be technically sound – building envelope technology, mechanical/electrical, structural.
• Fully bilingual.

Job Responsibilities For The Position Are As Follows

• Work under supervision of a PM
• Preparation of subcontractor/trade contract documents
• Tracking and updating of project budgets, including cost-to-complete projections
• Tracking and updating of project schedules
• Preparation and administration of change orders
• Shop drawing/samples administration
• Regular correspondence with architects, engineers, and subcontractors

The Ideal Candidates Possess The Following Skills
