Job summary

Structural Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Loudoun County, VA to support project execution from estimating through close-out. You will allocate resources, coordinate with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to deliver on plans and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural/Mechanical background, 1–3 years of PM experience on commercial or federal projects, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical).
• 1-3 years’ assistant project management experience in commercial and/or federal general building construction.
• Experience in estimating and managing design-build and design-bid-bid projects.
• Understanding of construction means and methods with new construction, renovations, systems upgrades and structural repairs.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
