Actalent seeks a hands-on Project Coordination Associate to support industrial construction projects in the Mid-South, splitting time between job sites, customers, and the office. You will assist with field coordination, documentation, and progress tracking, while learning construction trades and growing toward project management and estimating responsibilities.

The role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within a three-hour radius

Responsibilities

• Support industrial construction projects across the Mid-South region (concrete, coatings, fabrication, piping, welding, steel, mechanical).
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities with operations leadership.
• Communicate project requirements, schedules, and expectations with customers and field crews.
• Complete project documentation such as reports, logs, and records.
• Assist with permitting and site compliance activities.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to meet timelines and budgets.
• Travel within a three-hour radius of Memphis to visit job sites and customers.
• Learn construction trades hands-on and grow toward PM and estimating duties.

Responsibilities

• Support industrial construction projects involving concrete, coatings, fabrication, piping, welding, steel, and mechanical work throughout the Mid-South region.
• Work directly with operations leadership to assist with day-to-day project coordination and execution.
• Communicate professionally with customers and field crews to ensure project requirements, schedules, and expectations are clearly understood.
• Complete project documentation, including reports, logs, and records related to construction activities and progress.
• Assist with permitting activities and help manage compliance with relevant project and site requirements.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor needs in support of project timelines and budgets.
• Split time between job sites, customer locations, and office activities to maintain strong oversight of project status.
• Work alongside crews in a hands-on capacity to learn construction processes and industrial trades from the ground up.
• Use basic computer tools such as email and spreadsheets to track project information and support project management tasks.
• Travel within the regional territory, primarily within a three-hour radius of Memphis, to visit job sites and customer locations as needed.
• Demonstrate a dependable work ethic, coachability, and a strong desire to grow into project management and estimating responsibilities.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company at job sites and customer meetings.
• Follow safety practices and contribute to a safe working environment on all job sites.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collierville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
