Job description

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Project Management Department by handling billing, invoicing, freight, and general administration related to project management.

DUTIES

  1. Create and manage sales orders.
  2. Release work orders after review and submission by the Project Manager.
  3. Issue purchase orders, receive job costs, gather bills of lading, and other related documents.
  4. Schedule delivery of all items required for project completion.
  5. Process invoices to customers and vendors, and follow up to ensure payment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants for our Project Manager position should have the following skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

EDUCATION

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent training, education, and experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing, service, or a similar industry; sign industry experience preferred.
