Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Chicago seeks a Healthcare Construction Project Manager to support complex projects from planning through closeout. You’ll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of state-of-the-art facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field and 2–5 years of healthcare construction PM experience, with knowledge of HIPAA/ADA/FGI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is required.
• 2–5 years of construction project management experience, healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, ADA and FGI guidelines.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination and execution of healthcare construction projects.
• Support schedules, budgets and risk management plans.

Job Overview

In this role, you will support the management of complex healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with senior project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare construction projects
• Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Monitor project progress and report on key metrics to senior management and clients
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support the management of project-related issues and change requests
• Assist in the coordination of equipment and furniture procurement and installation
• Contribute to the development of best practices and lessons learned for future projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in healthcare or similar complex environments
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and building codes (e.g., HIPAA, ADA, FGI Guidelines)
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and documentation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
• OSHA certification is a plus

Compensation

Expected compensation for this position: 75,000.00 – 85,000.00 USD per year. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
