Job summary

BLUROC is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support renewable energy civil and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and leadership skills, with experience in civil construction and proficiency in PM software. Occasional travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management within civil construction.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and leadership abilities.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required.
  • Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Primavera, Procore, and Viewpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
  • Lead daily/weekly progress tracking to meet milestones.
  • Assist contract administration: RFIs, notices, pay apps, client meetings.
  • Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontracts; review invoices and change orders.
  • Support cost tracking and variance analysis against budgets.
  • Coordinate subcontractor mobilization, safety compliance, and daily reporting.
  • Maintain communication logs, action follow-ups, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site walks with PM and construction leads; monitor safety and progress.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the APMhelps coordinate project schedules, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors toensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
