Overview
Develop your management skills on exciting land development projects by supporting your fellow designers in the systematic and consistent execution of project design. Prioritize the development of your craft to positively impact project goals and develop fulfilling relationships with direct reports, clients, and fellow consultants through Forward Thinking, Grounded Design principles.
Requirements:
• Produce site designs, calculations, and reports for of a wide variety of site/civil projects for public and private sector clients, and assist in the management of a design team to complete the same.
• Actively participate in plan production efforts and work to develop client solutions consistent with the standards of regulatory agencies, our clients, and our Firm.
• Provide quality control / quality assurance to ensure the production of Grounded Design, consistent with Firm standards and the requirements of regulatory agencies and our clients.
• Construction administration duties including take-offs, cost estimates, bid letting, scheduling, RFI and pay app review, and site visits.
Qualifications:
• Develop your capabilities to effectively manage hours, budgets, and internal and external client expectations, and participate in mentoring and resource sharing for junior-level staff. • Actively engage and take leadership opportunities in local, industry-relevant organizations pertinent to business development opportunities, with most engagement expected to occur outside of normal business hours.
• Advance your professional goals and skills through the application of the Project Management Development Program competencies.
• Take ownership of team success, time management, and productivity by aiming for a minimum of 90% billability for yourself and your team.
• Always demonstrate and set an example of professionalism as a representative of the Firm.
• You have learned to apply the fundamental processes of land development design from conceptual design to construction administration.

*Requires job site visits outdoors and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment.
