Nelco World Wide is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Superintendent from turnover through construction, close-out, and final billing. You will manage project documentation and help ensure budget adherence and client satisfaction.
In this role you will collaborate with design partners, develop schedules, monitor submittals and changes, and maintain ISO-aligned processes while supporting field personnel and coordinating with PS on procurement and deliveries.
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) collaborates with the Project Superintendent (PS) to guide a project from turnover through construction, close-out, and final billing. This role ensures adherence to NELCO processes, procedures, safety standards, and budget requirements, ultimately delivering projects to clients’ satisfaction. The APM initiates, manages, and controls all project documentation, providing continuous Project Management support throughout the construction process, including punch list and closeout.
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other standard office equipment such as copy machines, phones, photocopiers, fax machines and computer printers. The staff member in this position frequently communicates internally and externally; must be able to exchange accurate information via phone, email, and/or in person. Specific vision abilities apply including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
This position operates in a clerical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
