Job summary

Skybeck Construction, LLC in Austin, TX, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Senior and Project Managers in delivering projects on time and with quality. The role offers opportunities to grow within a fast-paced multifamily construction team.

You will coordinate preconstruction activities, manage submittals and RFIs, and assist in scheduling, material orders, and subcontractor oversight, while communicating clearly across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years’ experience in the construction industry (preferably Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality).

• Document management including processing RFIs, Submittals, Meeting Minutes, and Schedules.

• Assist in oversight and coordination of all subcontractors.
• Assist in reviewing subcontractor draw requests and preparing monthly pay applications.
• Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with their overall job responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in ensuring the timely and quality delivery of work for assigned construction projects.

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years’ experience in the construction industry (preferably Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to travel to and from meetings, trainings, or other business-related events.
