Job summary

Granger Construction invites motivated students to join as a Field-based Assistant Project Engineer Intern in Michigan. You’ll support project managers and field teams with documentation, scheduling, and daily coordination while reviewing drawings to ensure alignment with goals and standards.

You will document progress, attend on-site meetings, draft RFIs and submittals, and help maintain safety and logistics with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capability to lead by example.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new software and adapt to project needs.
• Ability to work full-time during the internship period.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a field-based Assistant Project Engineer Intern, you will:
