Job summary

Granger Construction invites you to join a hands-on summer internship as a Field-based Assistant Project Engineer Intern. You’ll work alongside project teams, gain exposure to documentation, scheduling, drawing reviews, and on-site problem solving while helping keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and field teams by assisting in project documentation, scheduling, and coordination of daily activities.
• Review project drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance with industry standards.
• Track and document project progress, including daily logs, material deliveries, and work completed.
• Participate in on-site meetings to gain exposure to real-time problem-solving and decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of RFIs and submittals to ensure project milestones are met.
• Contribute to maintaining project safety standards by observing and reporting on-site conditions.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers, supporting procurement and logistics activities.

The Role:

As a field-based Assistant Project Engineer Intern, you will:

• Support project managers and field teams by assisting in project documentation, scheduling, and coordination of daily activities.
