The Assistant Project Coordinator is involved in the strategy, process, modeling, and coordination of projects being prepared for prefabrication. This person has a basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) computer applications and 3D design. The Assistant Project Coordinator maintains contact with the VDC Coordinator and Prefab Shop Leaders and can run a small to mid‑size project with senior oversight, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and quality standards. The Assistant Project Coordinator reports to the Project Coordinator, who is directly overseen by the Senior VDC Manager.
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of management.
