Mohawk Opportunities Inc. seeks an Assistant Program Manager to help operate a stabilization group home for adults with psychiatric diagnoses in Schenectady, NY. You will lead staff, ensure person-centric service delivery, and mentor teams while supporting residents toward independence.

The role requires strong communication, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to supervise and train staff. A valid driver’s license is needed; agency vehicles are available for transporting clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in human services or equivalent.
• Experience with mentally ill population and residential settings required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Valid and insurable driver's license; personal vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in daily operation oversight, resident services, and staff supervision.
• Oversee resident service delivery to ensure person-centered care and timely documentation; provide training and mentoring to staff.
