ICMA is currently seeking an Assistant Program Manager – to assist the Membership Benefits & Services and Professional Development teams to identify, create and execute membership support and growth initiatives. This position will work across both teams to identify and cultivate prospective members who would benefit from a deeper connection with ICMA.
The Assistant Program Manager will analyze data to execute a strategy for outreach to prospective members, many of whom participate in professional development programs as nonmembers. This position will also oversee the ICMA Coach Connect program and be responsible for program growth, member engagement, and marketing.
This individual will also play a pivotal role in monitoring and maintaining data accuracy, researching, compiling and analyzing data, generating reports, completing internal forms, and creating content for member and non-member communications using various platforms.
The selected candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art headquarters three days a week or more, as needed, based on the organization's priorities.
The salary for the Assistant Program Manager, Member Benefits and Services/Professional Development role is based on experience, with a range of $52,910 - $66,137.
This position has a dual supervisory structure and reports to the Director, Member Benefits & Services and the Director, Professional Development Operations.

This position is based out of ICMA's headquarters, located in Washington, D.C. The selected individual must be able to work the core business hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET.
High-speed internet connection is required when working virtually. Personnel will provide the internet service at their own expense. The internet connection must be of sufficient bandwidth to allow the team member to efficiently perform their regular job functions and participate in virtual meetings.
