Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director for our after-school program in Fremont, CA. The role leads a team, ensures high-quality care, and supports innovation, curiosity, and a sense of belonging for children and staff.

Responsibilities include training staff, fostering positive relationships with families and schools, and encouraging creativity by connecting with students’ interests. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm; weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• A degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 2 years of teaching experience.
• A BA degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 1 year of teaching experience.
• Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of professionals to deliver high-quality care, learning, and excitement to our children.
• Train AlphaBEST staff on nurturing children and igniting their sense of wonder.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment with positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
