Job summary

CAMBA seeks an Assistant Program Manager to maintain client confidentiality, manage contract requirements, and support program QA. You will supervise staff, conduct weekly progress reviews, and prepare reports for management and funders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage client confidentiality and privacy standards.
  • Experience coordinating training and QA measures for service delivery.
  • Ability to prepare reports and analyze program data.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate contract requirements to staff and set realistic targets.
  • Observe and supervise staff interactions with clients.
  • Conduct weekly client progress reviews and QA checks.
  • Prepare reports for CAMBA management and funders.
  • Assist in program data analysis for improvements.
  • Organize onsite/offsite staff training opportunities.
  • Provide program oversight in the Program Manager's absence.
  • Review timesheets and participate in performance appraisals.
  • May develop marketing materials and expand client recruitment.

Education

Bachelor's degree
Two years of applicable experience

Job description

What Does the Assistant Program Manager Do:Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.Comply with any and all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.Communicate with peers in other CAMBA programs on issues related to client progress.Understand all aspects of contract requirements and communicate this understanding to staff.Work with staff to set realistic weekly and monthly performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.Observe direct reporting staff engaging with clients and/or supervisory staff.Conduct weekly client progress reviews with staff.Conduct periodic internal file review and implement Quality Assurance measures as needed to ensure quality service delivery to clients.Prepare reports and statistical information for both CAMBA management and funder use.Assist in the analysis of program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements.Organize onsite and offsite training opportunities for professional development of staff.Assist the Program Manager in providing oversight for all aspects of the program in his/her absence.Confer with the Program Manager and/or other CAMBA management staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues.Attend staff/funder/outside agency meetings as requested.Review and sign timesheets.May prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff members.May develop appropriate marketing material and marketing/outreach strategies for the program.May network both within and outside CAMBA to expand client recruitment and opportunities for client success.May have direct client service/program responsibilities in addition to the above.Tasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over time.MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and two years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Sex Offender Registry (SOR),The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH).The New York City Department of Education (DOE)The New York State Central Registrar (SCR)The New York State Staff Exclusion List (SEL).Criminal History ReviewAbility to maintain clearance of the above throughout the duration of employment.Must take S-95/F-07 test and obtain FDNY Certificate of Fitness within two weeks of hire.Must participate in 5 hour Foundations in Health and Safety and, Mandated Reporter training
