Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an Assistant Program Director to supervise case management and program staff, ensuring quality care for adults experiencing homelessness and mental illness. In the Program Director's absence, you will work with the Regional Director to lead the team.

The role involves part-time scheduling (Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and a long-term contract through December 23, 2025, with potential extension. Strong supervision and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services required.
  • Strong mental health experience.
  • Ability to document timely and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable leading staff meetings and supervising teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision of program staff in relation to case management and services.
  • Audit consumer progress notes and service plans with clinical staff.
  • Ensure service plans meet agency standards and are trauma-informed.
  • Coordinate client placements and external service agency contacts.
  • Oversee orientation and transition of tenants into the program.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and report to management as needed.
  • Represent the agency with community groups to develop service linkages.
  • Conduct supervisory meetings and maintain documentation.

Job description

The Assistant Program Director will provide supervision of case management services to ensure quality care for adults who have experienced homelessness and mental illness. In the absence of the Program Director, this role will supervise program staff in conjunction with the Regional Director.

Schedule
  • Part-time: Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Long-term contract beginning immediately and running through December 23, 2025, with the possibility of extension beyond that date
Scope of Role

The Assistant Program Director will provide supervision of case management services to ensure quality care for adults who have experienced homelessness and mental illness. In the absence of the Program Director, this role will supervise program staff in conjunction with the Regional Director.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision of all program staff in relation to case management and program services (individual and group)
  • Audit and review consumer progress notes and service plans in coordination with clinical staff
  • Ensure consumer service plans meet agency standards, are person-centered, and trauma-informed
  • Maintain contact with external service agencies and coordinate client placements for treatment and program activities (may include volunteer job placement)
  • Assist the Director of Intake with scheduling and interviewing new tenants
  • Oversee orientation and transition of new tenants into the program
  • Participate in crisis intervention and report to management, agency, and stakeholders as needed
  • Support Facilities Management staff to ensure apartment standards are maintained in accordance with OMH, and HUD guidelines
  • Provide emergency and relief coverage when necessary
  • Represent the agency with community groups and partner agencies to develop service linkages
  • Conduct supervisory meetings with staff and maintain documentation of those meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services (required)
  • Strong mental health experience
  • Skilled in timely documentation, organization, and meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable leading staff meetings and supervising teams
  • Able to work independently with autonomy
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing quality support services
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree and professional license (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience with diverse populations and additional training (e.g., Behavior Tech) a plus
