Job summary

Morehouse College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Management in the Division of Business and Economics. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load for research-active PhDs and contribute to the BE Division’s mission and programs, with responsibilities including teaching, scholarly activity, and service.

Start date is Fall 2026. Preference given to candidates with a research-based Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Willingness to conduct research, present at conferences and publish in journals.

Position Summary

The Division of Business and Economics (BE) at Morehouse College invites applications for one full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Management. The disciplinary areas preferred are OB/HR/Leadership (secondary area: Strategy). Responsibilities will include a course load of 3/3 (for research active PhDs), and service to the BE Division.

This position contributes to the divisional vision and mission of Purpose-Driven Business, and promoting entrepreneurial, business, and economic solutions to social problems that advance Black communities and the African Diaspora. We invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position starting in the Fall semester of 2026

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to be an active researcher in the Academy.

Successful candidates should conduct research and submit for academic conferences and journals.

Preferred Qualifications

Have a research-based Ph.D. degree in Business, Management or related discipline from a full-time, AACSB -accredited institution.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Applicants must be able to qualify as a scholarly academic in entrepreneurship.
