The College of Health Professions at Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track, 9-month Assistant Professor position in the Department of Kinesiology. The successful candidate will develop and teach courses in sports and performance analytics, data analytics, athlete monitoring, quantitative research methods, strength and conditioning, and/or athletic training.
Preference given to CSCS/CPSS certified candidates and a strong scholarship plan. Preferred start date is August 2027.
Competenze
- Doctoral degree in Exercise Science or related field.
- ABD candidates considered; appointment at Instructor rank if ABD; degree must be completed by Feb 1, 2028.
- Scholarship agenda in Exercise Science aligned with faculty resources and course offerings.
- Ability to teach across kinesiology areas: sports/performance analytics, data analytics, athlete monitoring, quantitative methods, strength/conditioning, athletic training.
- Postdoctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
