Emory University seeks an Assistant Professor for its Cardiology division, emphasizing both teaching and clinical responsibilities. Position requires active engagement in patient care, outpatient and inpatient services, and participation in the academic community. This full-time role does not offer remote working options and requires presence at Emory University Hospital Midtown.

Proposed Academic Appointment: Assistant Professor
Primary Role & FTE Percentage: cFTE 1.0
Location: The primary site is at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM).
Clinical duties with General Cardiology include:
*Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of the Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director, based on operational and strategic needs of the service line.
Teaching expectations include participation in teaching activities such as lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship, in accordance with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure. You will also engage in scholarly or academic activities.
Note: All position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to the employee.
