San José State University’s Department of Electrical Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Semiconductor. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and establish an active research program in semiconductor fabrication and test, contributing to a multidisciplinary environment.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics by the start of the appointment.
• Research background in semiconductor process design, TCAD, device modeling, and/or advanced materials.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels; engaged in curriculum development.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to a socially and economically diverse student population.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical engineering.
• Establish and maintain an active research program in semiconductor fabrication and test.
• Engage in curriculum development and participate in shared governance and service.
• Collaborate with Silicon Valley industry and national laboratories to enhance education and research opportunities.
