Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering by the start of the appointment.
• Research background in Embedded Systems, ASIC, and SOC design.
• Strong commitment and potential for teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage in curriculum development.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a socially and economically diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach, supervise, and advise students in undergraduate and graduate programs; develop modern curriculum in Embedded Systems, System on Chip, ASIC; establish a research program and seek external partnerships and funding.
• Participate in shared governance through departmental, college, and university committees with emphasis on assessment.
• Organize all classes within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
• Demonstrate inclusive teaching practices addressing diversity and accessibility in the classroom.
