Job summary

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking a full-time tenure ineligible pulmonary and critical care physician at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our growing team. Rank and compensation are contingent upon qualifications, experience, and scholarly achievement.

Clinical service responsibilities will be divided among assignments caring for the critically ill and managing patients in outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent.
• Board-certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care by start date.
• Strong clinical skills in ICU and pulmonary medicine.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collegial approach to multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill patients in ICU and manage outpatient clinics.
