Job summary

Medhavi Skills University is seeking an Assistant Professor – Physiotherapy to lead academic teaching, clinical training, and student mentoring while driving research and curriculum delivery. You will ensure compliance with university and regulatory requirements, oversee assessments, and contribute to department development.

The role emphasizes research, industry collaborations, and client-facing training with on-the-job learning integrated into the education framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in a recognized specialization from a recognized university.
• Minimum 1-3 years of teaching and/or clinical experience after MPT. Higher education and clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and academic knowledge in Physiotherapy.
• Teaching and mentoring skills.
• Research and publication aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical classes as per curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Supervise clinical postings, internships, and OJT/OJL activities.
• Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance.
• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in examinations, assessments, and evaluation processes.
• Support accreditation, audits, BOS activities, and academic administration.
• Develop industry and hospital collaborations for training and placements.
• Organise workshops, seminars, FDPs, and outreach activities.
