Job Description Summary
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an additional BC/BE physiatrist for full time faculty position with specialized training and interest in Spine/Pain Management and Rehabilitation. Applicants are invited at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) based on experience.
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Manage Rehabilitation Medicine patients/program along with teaching and scholarly activity.
- Functional restoration and pain management in patients with musculoskeletal and/or sports medicine rehabilitation needs.
- Conduct musculoskeletal and/or specialty clinics in location(s) as determined.
- Supervise and teach residents, fellows and medical students when assigned to clinics or to the rehabilitation unit.
- Lecture to fellows, residents and students. Attend Grand Rounds as scheduled.
- Maintain scholarship commensurate with appropriate academic track.

Education
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
- ACGME Fellowship Training in Spint/Pain Management
