The successful candidate will develop an externally funded research program in organic/organometallic synthesis, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry required.
• Postdoctoral experience in synthetic chemistry or closely related field preferred.
• Experience securing external research funding is desirable.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded, independent research program in organic/organometallic chemistry.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (lecture and laboratory) in chemistry.
• Mentor and supervise undergraduate, MS, and PhD students; participate in thesis/dissertation committees.
• Contribute to departmental and university service and scholarly activities.
