Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s Department of Health and Exercise Science invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track or Clinical Track) in human nutrition. The ideal candidate will teach nutrition courses and contribute to program development, promoting health, wellness, and public health education across undergraduate offerings.

The position is on-ground with the start anticipated January 2027.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required.
• Independent undergraduate teaching experience is required.
• Strong teaching skills and use of instructional technology are expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes assigned by department chair.
• Support curriculum development and evaluation.
• Advise and mentor students academically.
• Participate in faculty development activities.
• Engage in professional activities to maximize student learning and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with colleagues in teaching and research.
