Job summary

Chatham University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Nursing to teach online RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP programs. This full-time, 12-month faculty role reports to the Nursing Program Director and emphasizes student-centered instruction in a collaborative environment.

The candidate will deliver online courses, grade assignments, advise students, engage in scholarly activity, and participate in service. A PA nursing license (or eligibility), two nursing degrees including a doctoral, and online

• Current unencumbered PA nursing license or eligibility for licensure in PA.
• Two nursing degrees, including a doctoral degree.
• Experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation preferred.
• Online nursing teaching experience preferred.
• Defined clinical scholarly agenda.
• Must be able to travel to campus regularly.

Responsibilities

• Teach online courses in the RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP programs.
• Grade student work and provide timely feedback.
• Advise assigned nursing students.
• Participate in professional, university, and departmental service.
• Engage in a program of scholarship and course liaison duties.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with students, faculty and staff.
