• Preference for online or blended teaching experience.

Position Title:Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Operations ManagementCompensation:$130,000-$135,000Department:Info Systems & Operations Mgt (QiannongStart Date:08/02/2027About this opportunity:The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management in the Miller College of Business at Ball State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2027.Candidates with an interest and ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate business analytics and information systems courses and conduct quality research in the same fields are encouraged to apply.Employer will consider sponsorship.What you'll do and what you will bring:Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities: teaching nine semester hours each fall and spring semester in subjects such as but not limited to: business analytics, Information Systems, Networking, Database, cyber security, AI in business; assignment may include undergraduate and graduate courses, which may be delivered on-line, synchronously or asynchronously.
