Qualifications

• Terminal degree in immersive experiences, mixed reality, or entertainment design by the appointment date.
• Experience in entertainment-related organizations or peer-reviewed scholarship and/or grantwriting.
• Experience teaching in related areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in extended reality, motion graphics, TouchDesigner, interactive media, entertainment design, and experiential design.
• Maintain an active research/creative program using the XR lab to support immersive experiences and related areas.
• Actively pursue grant funding.
• Develop curricula.
• Coordinate the entertainment design and technology program.
• Provide service to the University.
