The School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for one full-time tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Finance with an expected start date of Fall 2025. Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds in Corporate Finance, Advanced Financial Modelling, Financial Institutions, Candidates with interest and experience in Investments (traditional and alternative), Portfolio Management, Trading and Market Microstructure, and Behavioral Finance will also be considered. This position is part of the School's strategic plan to transform the existing finance major in response to industry trends. You will be involved in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer/impact in the field of finance, broadly defined.
For this position, we especially welcome candidates interested in Corporate Finance, particularly payout policy, credit policy, and cash and capital budgeting. Additionally, we prefer a candidate that has expertise in Advanced Financial Modelling, Financial Institutions and Portfolio Management. We would also welcome candidates with specific expertise and interests in Financial Trading, Market Microstructure, and Behavioral Finance.

The Quinnipiac University School of Business is a dynamic, student-centric community that includes 1450 undergraduate and 550 graduate students. The school supports excellence in pedagogy and research through a multitude of resources including Behavioral Insights Lab, the Terry Goodwin ’67 Financial Technology Center, and Sales Center. The school also houses two leading centers: the M&T Bank Center for Women and Business and the M&T Bank Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship that provide unique opportunities for collaboration. The School of Business also manages the annual Quinnipiac University Global Asset Manage Education Forum (GAME), the largest student-run investment conference in the world.
